Westerville Sunrise Rotary Foundation
The annual Wendy's Chili Open is the largest community-wide fundraiser organized by the Rotary Club of Westerville Sunrise. During the past 13 years, the event has raised more than $1.3 million to sustain its commitment to local children in need. One hundred percent of the proceeds benefit local children's charities. Children's Hunger Alliance
500,000 children in Ohio are hungry or at-risk of hunger. That many children could fill the Ohio State Horseshoe five times! That's why Children's Hunger Alliance works every day to ensure all Ohio children have access to healthy meals, nutrition education and quality child care. Children's Hunger Alliance works with schools, legislators, child care providers and youth-serving and faith-based organizations to implement and increase participation in school breakfast and lunch programs, summer and afterschool meal programs and family child care meal programs. The Special Care Nursery at Mount Carmel St. Ann's
The Mount Carmel St. Ann's Maternity Pavilion is home to a special place for babies - the Special Care Nursery. The 19-bed unit is dedicated to helping sick or premature newborns who need extra tender loving care during their first days in this world. Each year, over 400 babies are cared for in this unit. Funds from the Chili Open will go toward isolettes for the Special Care Nursery. Isolettes are special beds that keep babies warm and help them as they grow and get healthy enough to go home with their families. |

Ohio Troopers Caring, Inc.
The Ohio Troopers Caring, Inc. is a charitable organization. With the help of their mascot Teddy Trooper, they work in children's hospitals, with Bears Against Drugs and Safety School, and they provide anti-drug messages for school children.
